  1. Enjoyed the episode overall. Yes I am very jealous about you meeting and getting autographs from Rob Paulsen and Kevin Conroy! I want to meet both and to interview one and train with the other! I have these cartoons on a combo disc with classic toons of the 40’s to 60’s. So I am familiar but for me the DCAU is the Ultimate of all the DC Lineups and no better has been done before or since IMO.

    1. I met and got autographs from Maurice LaMarche and Jess Harnell as well. Sadly I missed my opportunity to meet Billy West, John DiMaggio and Tara Strong who were also there. I guess I should have let you guys know I was going to the convention, I’ll keep that in mind in the future.

  2. Great podcast guys! Great choice for a topic, I feel like these shorts aren’t talk about enough. I remember having a VHS of them when I was a kid and I think this and the classic George Reeves TV show were my first exposure to superheroes of any kind. It would have been interesting if the New Superman movie was made in the same vein as this. Similar to the way Captain America was made last summer. I just feel his character fits really well in this style. Plus it would have made perfect sense to place Jon Hamm in the role as Superman. Maybe that’s a horrible idea, but at least it would have been something different.

    1. Glad you liked it, yeah my first exposure was Super Friends, and Superman The Movie.
