  1. Great cast, I did want to Discuss Walking Dead “Deaths” since they are either Ironic or Poetic. However, now that I am watching the T.V. series. I give a damn more about the characters on T.V. My point is…how do I word this…I feel that the Actors gave these characters life…in the comics Rick, Carl, Carol, Glenn…they don’t work for me. I feel that it is a generic…cookie cutting zombie survival story. Yet with the T.V. show, the writing is tighter, and the social commentary works more for me. Again, that’s just me.

    1. I have to disagree with you there. I enjoy both the comic and TV show of the Walking Dead but what the comic has always been better at is building its characters. The TV shows forces character development way too often. People drastically change with no real rhyme or reason. Michonne is a great example. She became more bubbly this season just out of the blue. It wasn’t a natural build up. The show hasn’t been able to quite get Rick right. He’s unstable to a point but in the show he is erratic. Honestly the best character the show has in my opinion is Carol. Her changes have felt natural and I prefer her in the show much more than in the comic.

Regarding character deaths the only one that has really meant something to me is Uncle Ben. (espite what Spider-Man 3 tried to do with changing who killed him. It works even better than Batman’s parents because it puts responsibility on the shoulders of Spider-Man. The infamous with great power comes great responsibility line works because of how the death was set up.
