Spectacular Spider-Man is a decent Spider-Man cartoon. I know a lot of fans are turned off by the character designs, and I was too. But when I gave it a chance (thanks, Netflix streaming!) I actually found myself enjoying it. The stories are good and I actually like that events are connected. An argument can be made that perhaps things are too connected, but I still feel this is a solid series. Animation fans should definitely check it out.
I would have given it a better chance, if it was still on netflix. It got removed after I joined.
Yeah, it was one of those shows that didn’t exist on streaming long. I recall watching several episodes in a short period so that I could catch it before they pulled it.
