Everything Or Nothing: The Untold Story of 007:

Back in November and December 2012 we held Bond Month here at The GCRN. Now we take a look at the documentary on the untold story of 007.

EON PosterHe’s the greatest secret agent in the world, but who are the men behind Agent 007? This engrossing documentary goes inside the James Bond legend to uncover how a series of spy stories became one of the most iconic franchises in cinema history.

Overview: First of all I never got it until now, but EON Productions stands for Everything Or Nothing. I can’t believe I missed out on this at first. This exciting documentary covers the untold story of 007, and the people behind the scenes in the 50 year long franchise. It covers the beginnings of Ian Flemming’s writing and more, and talks about his life before writing Bond. It talks about Albert “Cubby” Broccoli, Harry Saltzman, and the rest of the men and women that have had something to do with the Bond franchise.

Why You Should Check It Out: Anyone who is a Bond fan should check this out, whether you are a die hard fan or a fan that only dabbles a bit in the 007 universe. It gives you a very in depth look at everything behind the Bond franchise.

Final Thoughts:

I loved watching this documentary, it was so amazing seeing the story behind one of the greatest Secret Agents of all time. Even if you aren’t a Bond fan, you should watch this, becuse it shows the early days of Hollywood and the filmmaking business.

Doc Rating: 10/10
