Hello all and welcome to a NEW Daily Blog series from me… TFG1Mike! The idea here is for me to write something, anything, once a day for 365 days. From January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019. In my 21st entry, I’ll be talking about The NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS!!!
This year is the 60th Anniversary of the New England Patriots being an established team, their first season was in 1960!! This year the team is going to Superbowl LIII!!!
I remember watching the Patriots as a kid in the 80s, and no one outside of New England gave two shits about the team. As a native Bostonian-New Englander… I love all four of the major sports teams from Boston. No matter if they win or lose. I get super excited when they win, and I get super pissed when they lose. However either emotion… I’ve learned not to dwell on it. If any of the teams lose, sure I’m upset for a day or two, but I don’t let it fester. (The only exceptions is my hatred for the New York Yankees).
The Patriots’ Dynasty didn’t start until Superbowl XXXVI in 2001. So please EXPLAIN to me and give EXAMPLES of WHY all of a sudden everyone hates The Patriots within the last 18 years??? They’re only 5-5 in SB wins and losses. I mean seriously the team is epic, but having a broke even record in super bowl appearances, doesn’t mean that they are the winning-est team ever. I could see if they had won all of their SB appearances.
PLEASE DO NOT CITE SPY or DEFLATEGATE! (those things happened, and now they’re over and done with)
So just like SCRAPPY DOO and Nickelback please give me RATIONAL explanations as to why the hate?!?! Let me know in the comments below!
