Hello all and welcome to a NEW Daily Blog series from me… TFG1Mike! The idea here is for me to write something, anything, once a day for 365 days. From January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019. In my 79th entry, I’ll be giving you my thoughts on the meaning of the above quote.
We all have good times and bad times in life, no one has a “perfect” life, and each of our lives are different. The trials and tribulations that we all go through, I believe make us stronger in the end. However when it gets so dark that you can’t focus on the light, sometimes you need a help. Asking for any kind of help from anyone has always been difficult for me. I often have thought, because of my Cerebral Palsy, I need to be determined to do stuff on my own. I will only ask for help when things are really really dark. Looking towards the light at times is often difficult, sometimes the darkness is more inviting.
Aristotle is right though, sometimes it takes a whole lot of darkness to focus on the light, and where you need to be. All human beings have different lives, life paths, and journeys they must go on. If we all lived the same life, this world would be a very boring place. So in my darkest hours I will focus on the light, and persevere! I have to be strong, and be positive for myself, my wife, and the life we want to create for ourselves!
