TFG1MIKE 365 – 2023 Day 23

Hello all and welcome back to TFG1Mike 365! It’s Day 23 of 2023!!! New Year brings new hopes and dreams to all of us I think. In case you haven’t read any of my blogs before, you can find all the blogs over at FROM THE DESK OF TFG1Mike! Normally my goal with this series is to wake up each new day, and find something on the internet, or in real life to write about. Today is all about asking the question: Is Email a truly dead form of communication?
This isn’t directed at anyone, but it’s a general statement: I CAN handle hearing a NO from someone I send a request to, but not hearing anything just makes my BLOOD BOIL!!! My thing with email these days is for longer form requests to anyone that I might wanna have as a guest on the podcasts I do. I understand that everyone is busy, but c’mon! It takes two seconds to acknowledge that I’ve sent you an email, and let me know that you’ll get back to me or whatever.
YES Email in the sense of personal contact is kinda dead, as we have all the social networks and messaging apps. However for inquiries for things I still use it, as I can lay out my ideas in a fully formed thought, versus a burst of messages!
