  1. Great episode guys!!! I will still defend the Affleck Daredevil, as I really did enjoy it back in 2003. However the Director’s Cut version made it more enjoyable. The TV series is amazing!!!! I didn’t even put 2 and 2 together about Elden Henson…. that blew my mind. Fulton from Mighty Ducks really has grown into acting lol!

I think it was Dan that said the final two episodes weren’t as epic as he had hoped. I have to disagree the 13th ep was amazing. And we finally got the fight we had been waiting for all season.

As far as The Kingpin aka Fisk…. in this series so far they show him to be a man of opulence, but they show he is more of a recluse. Whereas in other mediums he has been OPEN to the public as Fisk, yet in the Shadows as kingpin. Comparing Michael Clarke Duncan’s version to D’onofrio’s they each bring something amazing to the role. They each in their portrayal command respect, as Fisk should. I don’t think one is better than the other. I think now that D’onofrio is Wilson Fisk, I don’t and can’t see anyone else playing the role.

    Keep up the great work.

    1. Thanks Mike. I did feel the end of the series wasn’t as strong as it started. Mostly with the pacing of the last episode. It didn’t really kick in to the final twenty minutes or so which made it feel rush to me. It was like a normal episode then suddenly now we are in the climax. I’m going to rewatch it in a month or so to see if that issue subsides on a second go around.

  2. I hope Agents of SHIELD moves to Netflix. That was a point I didn’t think about with regards to having the entire series released at once. It makes it so much easier to fill into the Marvel Universe. You don’t have to be like AOS and hold back major story arcs just to make way for the movies.

    1. But if that happened ABC would have to scramble to fill that spot with something less than stellar. I agree if AOS had been a Netflix series it’d have been better. I doubt it’ll move though.

    2. I don’t see AOS getting much better if it goes to Netflix. Heck the only thing that saved season 1 was its connection to Winter Solider.

    3. I know this isn’t what you mean but season 1 is on Netflix. I don’t know if moving to Netflix will make the show better. It could, but I they’d need to cut down on the amount of episodes first.

  3. Fantastic review guys. And thanks for keeping the spoilers at the end. I haven’t finished the series yet so I’ll have to go back and listen to the rest when I do. I love it so far. Darker than I would have liked, and Chuck is not alone. I too liked the Daredevil movie. I was a little annoyed that this show didn’t get into his powers much. I’m getting more used to it now. I was hoping we’d get more into how his powers help him be a great fighter.

    1. I loved that they didn’t visually represent his powers that much. Think about it. The guy is blind so it makes sense that we mainly get audio cues into how his powers works. When are experiencing his powers the same way he is.

  4. Some other DD Easter Eggs are that the guy that made Daredevil suit is the character that become Gladiator, and they even show schematics of the Gladiator suit in his office. The Leland character is also the guy who becomes The Owl, and one of the people DD’s dad fights is the Absorbing Man. Well he at least has the same name.

    1. Good pickups. I did catch the “Crusher Creel” one for his dads boxing match. I didn’t realize the other two but you are right. Melvin Potter aka Gladiator started out as a costume designer. I’m not real familiar with alot of Daredevil characters from the comics but I’m getting there.

    2. My guess is Leland’s son shows up in season 2 and becomes more like Owl character. I also heard the Sniper from episode 8 (I think that’s the episode) was meant to be Bullseye

      1. I wonder that myself. If that was a hint at Bullseye.Too soon to know I assume.

        1. I’ve heard that rumor. I could be. Or just left open ended enough in case they don’t go that route.

    3. Good eye. I honestly didn’t notice most of those, in large part due to my limited knowledge of Daredevil.

  5. There are few things in life that I am more excited about that the new Star Wars movie. Seriously I shed of tear of childhood joy watching the trailer. Finally someone who understands this universe is in charge of it again. I am forever grateful for what Lucas did, even considering the prequels, but it was clear his world grew beyond him. This is the movie I was dreaming about ever since I finished Jedi for the first time.
