Iron Man 3 Score
By: TFG1Mike
SPOILER FREE for those that haven’t seen the film yet. However the music is amazing. There have been 2 other composers for the Iron Man films. Ramin Djawadi did the score for IM 1 and John Debney scored for IM2. These are both cool scores, but we are here to talk about Brian Tyler and the Iron Man 3 score!
Usually for me if I latch onto an instrumental song from a trailer I’m hooked. Most times however the trailer music is never in the score or soundtrack. That is far from the truth for Brian Tyler’s Iron Man 3 score. Attack on 10880 Malibu Point has several of the beats from the theatrical trailer music. There are 20 tracks in all for this score. honestly I enjoy every single one of them.
There are high action, epic, and get in your face moments. As well as softer more emotional moments within this score. You also have a hero’s journey with the track entitled Stark. It combines elements of everything I just mentioned. It starts off very light, yet omminious in tone, and then takes you to an emotional chord, while at the end it seems to be a battle anthem for Tony.
Brian Tyler along with the London Philharmonic Orchestra has put together an amaing score, to an amazing film. Since it’s release I have listened to all 20 tracks at least ten times each. It is that good. I’m both excited, and driven by this music. Not just because I have seen Iron Man 3 twice at this point, but because it’s damn fine music. Tyler has created an Iron Man main theme in “Can You Dig It (Iron Man 3 Main Titles)” for all time. It is epic, upbeat, and very much tells the story of a superhero! Even though Tony Stark isn’t the hero type clearly….. HE IS IRON MAN!
Everyone should listen to this score, if you have seen the film it will only enhance your enjoyment even more. If you haven’t seen Iron Man 3 yet… well what’s wrong with you? Get off the internet, and go see it! Still if you haven’t seen the film yet, I gauruntee that hearing this music will make you want to go see the movie right now!!!!
Overall Score: 10/10
