  1. I surprised you guys liked the Justice League trailer. I found it rather underwhelming. It felt less like a trailer or more like a sizzle reel of WB trying address the concerns of BVS.

I really liked Ben Affleck in BVS but in that the humor was super awkward and forced. I liked the Aquaman stuff, but that’s about it. For Flash I liked the actor a lot but the lines left a lot to be desired. Cyborg looked awful. I know its super early and that will be cleaned up but currently they have a lot of work that needs to be done.

Especially when you compare it to the Wonder Woman trailer or any of the Suicide Squad trailers the Justice League trailer lacked energy. This is the Justice League coming together it should feel epic and never lived up to that.

I still have hope for the movie because this is just one trailer that’s working with limited footage but I guess I have a hard time understanding what’s positive about it.

Also Captain America First Avenger was designed to look like classical serials so it is meant to be surreal. Its admittedly poor in sports but it’s not trying for photo realism. I get it can look cheap but as someone who digs that look and era of filmmaking I fond it refreshing compared to other comic book films.

    1. I personally have no ambition to see Suicide squad and it doesn’t look fun to me. BvS anything with Affleck and either Wonder Woman or Alfred was great. This was a teaser not a trailer but did look good to me. Some humor was weird with flash and yes Cyborg looks weird but with him it’s going to be mixing man and machine on screen. Wonder Woman looks like like a great film. Either way more enthused for JL than the other stuff.

      1. I understand being more interested in the Justice League but I don’t understand what at all was good about that trailer. I guess I was looking for that triumphant moment that demonstrated what a big deal this team is and I didn’t get it.

And to be fair they could be holding back waiting to unleash that moment in the movie when Superman returns..,again (I assume)

        1. I got that moment of ahh it looks to be better than what we’ve received thus far. Wasn’t at all about the team or the teaser. Personally I’d have rather seen Green Lantern and Martian Manhunter than Cyborg and Aquaman as well. Yeah I am assuming that with Superman as well,

    2. Agreed regarding Captain America.

I thought Justice League gave me everything I wanted in a teaser. Just enough to get excited but too much that I know everything about the movie.

      1. You mean like how BvS blew it’s load on the few trailers it had initially?

I am excited for what I’ve seen. Plus doesn’t say if Superman will be back yet which I like.

  3. So have you decided to put the show on hold or not after this episode? I hope it comes back soon. It has become my Friday ritual to listen to this on my way home from work.

    1. I was planning on putting the show on hiatus. BUT what I may do is mini-episodes based on topics people have brought to my attention. That way I’m relavent but also having fun with it. They’d only be myself on them though. I just need a vacation. Also I will be on one next week so will have something prepped.
