  1. I completely agree with you guys on Comic-Con. Why they makeit so closed off I have no idea. People have been arguing that for years, but Comic Con officials have said they worry putting it on online will make it less special, but the real reason is they are worried it will cause ticket sales to drop, but even if they do it’s not like you won’t make up that money if you charge for streaming.

    1. Not only that but those that can’t afford the expenses related to it will get a taste. It’s a taste because it’s not the full experience. All of us want that experience but this will also do until the time we could afford it.

      1. I kind of get why they don’t honestly. E3 is much more media based than Comic-Con. It is purposely designed for the fans over the media outlets. E3 isn’t even opened to the general public so they have no worries of ticket sales falling. Could Comic-Con make that money back with online streaming? Maybe, but I don’t think it’s as easy as people are making it out to be. You also have to consider where Comic-Con makes their money isn’t even the ticket price. It’s everything else that comes with it. All the other money people spend. If people can experience Hall H without having to wait in line do they even bother to show up to Comic-Con? Yes, but I don’t you’ll get the same crowds as you do today.

  3. I’m surprised Steve isn’t interest in Rogue One at all. I’m loving what Disney is doing with Star Wars. They are making it mean something again, and have a full front assault on cool Star Wars ideas. And not only that they are getting great people for their movies. Directors and actors alike.

Rogue One is based on one line of dialogue but that also allows it to be tied to Star Wars cannon and not have to be beholden to it.

The prequels weren’t bad because we because we knew what was going to happen going in, they were bad because they were poorly acted, badly written, and directed by George Lucas. So I’m not scared Rogue One will be bad because we have come up with our own idea of what that story should be.

  4. One reboot I would like to see TV wise or maybe reboot isn’t the right word. Continuation series would be Deadwood because that never got a proper ending that it deserved. It is one of the best HBO shows ever in my mind and a lot of its actors are major stars today so I doubt its possible.

I am really excited for the Westworld TV series coming out on HBO that looks really good too.
