  1. See I do feel the Marvel films are 100% appropriate for all ages. I have no issue showing my kids Iron Man, Avengers, and even the Spider-Man movies. The message they send is the most important and that’s what my kids gravitate towards. I agree about Dark Knight though. That’s a movie that you should at least be 12 or 13 to watch.

  3. Why would anyone want Deadpool to be PG-13. Makes no sense. The guy is a mercenary that kills people for money. What about that says it should be made for kids. I get that Deadpool shows up in cartoons here and there but he’s never been an all age appropriate character.

  5. I have designed, okay designed meaning bought from Ikea glass display panels for a lot of my collectible action figures. I rigged in some lighting as well to make it work. It has four stories and each story has different theme of figures. One is Universal Monsters, another Walking Dead, Star Wars, and the last one is comic book related. I plan on getting more soon as I have added a lot of Force Awaken toys to the collection.

  7. The whiners wanting George Lucas to direct the other movies are, as you said, probably the same fans who moaned about the prequels. Some people will never be happy. They do realize that JJ is not directing the other films, right? I have no idea who is writing the scripts, but that is a large part of it as well.

So people are complaining because Deadpool is R rated?! So because a film is based on a comic book, it cannot be R rated? Some comics are not all-ages. A History of Violence is a good example. Of course, it’s not superheroes, but I don’t know that Deadpool classifies. Plus, he’s not an A class character. A lot of kids won’t even know who Deadpool is anyway. Plus, that R rated teaser they put together is what got them the greenlight for the movie, is it not? There is plenty of room in the world for both all-ages and more adult-oriented comic book films. An R rating is a big risk, so kudos to the studio for taking that risk. I can see a lot of guys calling up a few buddies to go see this movie.

A lot of the superhero films are probably best suited to kids 8-10 or older. But you’d be surprised what parents let their kids watch…as I am sure you know.
