Currently I kind of have a geek room. Nothing special about it but the one thing I do find is a key component is space. When you collect things like comic books, movies, books, and video games things can add up. I have tons of storage space with file lockers for my most precious gift. Some of which are even fire proof. What can I say. I was a boy scout. Always be prepared
I agree space is a key factor. With the right creative mind you can make limited space work though. Corner Desks are a big plus. You can be ecomical with your space that way. Built in shelving too. I try to make my own to fit the room I’m in.
The one thing a geek room needs though is a proper bar or at least a place for some refrigerated beverages. I take ideas from geek rooms and man caves and put them into one. My pool table also doubles as a kick ass table for D&D and Lego parties.
I am far too scared to try to see how much time I waste watching TV. Although I try to do stuff while watching TV show its not nearly as big of a waste of time. But I do think the mindless box that is a TV does serve a purpose. Sometimes gluing your eyes to it for a few hours can get rid of a lot of needless stress.
aint that the damn truth.
My ultimate geek would have an epic entertainment system with all the fixings. A row of classic arcade games, and the most comfortable couches known to mankind. I can see it now. I just want to fall asleep on top of a pillow shaped like the Tardis. Is that too much to ask.
