This episode is actually rather clever with Baljeet’s arc. It’s building to Baljeet learning a lesson about expression and how math isn’t the only thing in life, but he ends up actually getting upset when he finds out he won’t be graded but still ends up doing well because he channels that frustration into a song, thus kind of learning the lesson, just not in the way it sounds. It’s clever and leads to a really fun song.

The Doof plot is fun to, although nothing crazy great. My only problem comes with Stacy’s “plot”. Actually, it’s not really a plot because she meets Coltrane…and that’s it. There’s no conflict and they are just together after that. They tease an actual plot but they wasted their chance to make me like Coltrane. The Candace plot is nice but I would perfer if they either cut Stacy’s plot or developed it more.

Otherwise, a pretty fun and clever episode. 7.4/10. Fixing Stacy’s “plot’ would have given it a higher rating but ah well.

    Vanessaassary Roughness:

This is a very fun episode. It’s pretty much just a wild chase as many characters try to get a McGuffin and it’s really enjoy. Of course it’s mostly about Vanessa, but it’s Ferb who stands out with how much of a badass he is. They bond a bit without them going too deep into the whole crush thing, to keep things light and fun. This one also breaks the formula the most, as It has no big idea, no inator, and no busting. It’s just a big fun chase.

    Also, amazing song.

There aren’t quite that many specific gags but it’s more about the fun of the chase, and it has it’s moments, like Phineas sitting things out or Ferb’s name being short for-oh here it is. (Oh just wait til we get to the ep that reveals his full name…)

So yeah, it gets an 8/10. The ending was slightly weak since Vanessa doesn’t quite win with Doof being arrested but it’s a funny gag at least. Still, a very fun episode.

    No More Bunny Business:

This episode has a lot going for it. It’s a unique plot with Perry taking down a rouge agent, which leads to a lot of action. The idea of Dennis being Candace’s pet adds a lot to, meaning Perry has to be more discreet and Dennis gets amusingly tortured by Candace. The Phineas plot is neat with a cool song and what can i say about Planty the Potted Plant?

It’s one of the funniest Doof plots ever. I suppose the only thing holding this one back is some harsh bits with Candace. She mostly works but there as some off moments early on. There’s an odd part where Phineas actually gets mad at her for calling the glasses stupid, making this the first tiime he gets angry. Not a problem, it’s just weird to see.

So 7.4/10. A more jokes or something would have given it extra points, but as it is, it’s very unique and fun.

    Spa Day:

Another one where I don’t have a lot to say. Candace’s plot is interesting since it has her being pretty selfish and careless yet it doesn’t bother me since it’s kept funny and they subvert the usual cheesy moment at the end, because as Stacy puts it: ” You’re starting to sound like one of those TV shows we like to make fun of”

Some people may have an issue with it, but they kind of make fun of it so i find it amusing. The Spa Rap is awesome and the Doof plot with the cat is pretty enjoyable. The ending is also quite nice and makes it all work.

Also, Dr Coconut. So, 7.3/10. Perhap a bit wonky in some areas, but it’s a nice episode overall.
