  1. well if they released it the week of the actual anniversary, we would have had it. That was the point with this celebrating the 30th anniversary on the date the film was released. This was more of a commentary on the film itself. We’ll do an attf talking about the dvd-blu ray release from shout though. Once we get it. Thanks for listening.

    1. It might have presented more talking points. But I look forward to any discussions you have regarding the Blu-ray from Shout! Factory versus the other releases.

      1. The purpose was to celebrate the release of the film, and get someone… that we’ve never had on the show to talk about the film itself. The next numbered ATTF 56 I believe… we will talk about the blu ray dvd hopefully.

I’d rather highlight the Blu Ray DVD in a way where we don’t have to recap the film for everyone. Fans of it already know what the story is and all the coolness that is TFTM. So we’ll be discussing the 4k transfer the differences in picture quality bonus features etc.

  2. I enjoyed the commentary. I do think that it would have been a good idea to wait until the 30th anniversary Blu-ray was released, however.
