  1. I really love this idea, and those posters are really sweet. I would say based on the eye test Greg’s movie looks like the best, but overall team I have to go with Dan’s team. I love the Bourne franchise so that is a big plus. And Tony Jaa is the freaking man. I’d love to see those guys together.

    1. Exactly what I was thinking. Two very different styles of Martial Arts that I’d love too see face off against one another or fight along side one another.

  2. haven’t listened to the ep yet, but Greg’s team hands down LOL! Just for the sheer laughs we’d get seeing Cage and The Hoff in the same film.

  3. Dude those posters are sick. I want to watch them all. Rambo is one of my personal favorite action movies so I’m inclined to go with Chucks. But James Bond and Nic Cage in the same movie? Wow. I’ll have to think about this one.

    1. Yea his team is stacked. But the idea of Tony Jaa and Rama from The Raid being on the same team made me giggle in joy. Maybe I’m alone on that one.

      1. Yours is probably the most interesting team Dan, but as you said if we are just going on who has the most bad ass action stars, then it goes to Chuck! Although since this is about who would have the best ‘movie’ crew I could see votes going in other directions!

  4. I did this for the last one so again I have to play the role of Mel Kipper Junior.

Heroes are Made – Grade A – Unquestionably the winner here. Picking up the best player in the draft (John McClain) who should partner nicely with equally iconic Rambo. Both provide a one – two punch no one should be able to match. In the action hero combine McClain wowed everyone in the ‘Witty One Liner Drills” and Rambo was a machine in the one man defeats an entire army section. Martin Riggs does come with a great deal of off the field baggage and some question if his mind is completely in it. His hostile personality maybe too much to overcome. With the team that surrounds him, they should be able to keep in in check. Time will tell.

Delivery Men – Grade B+ – After winning last draft a great deal of pressure was on. Would the champ repeat success or suffer from an infamous Podcast Award Slump. No slump here as Delivery Men walked away with the biggest steal of the night grabbing James Bond in the third round. This made up for what was slip up in the second round picking Michael Knight. It was far too early for a pick of that caliber. Many better choices were still on the board. The big question comes with the man directing this team. Clint Eastwood is an action icon until himself, but is this his type of team? He tends to move slow and methodically to get things done. Here his tools are better suited for a fast paced offense. Meshing these two styles could lead to something special, or it could lead to a giant mess.

Hell Razers – Grade B- – What this team lacks in name recognition it makes up for in sheer talent. Tony Jaa may be the Yao Ming of this draft giving it the overseas appeal that could go a long way in the global box office. Although, is there enough there to bring in the domestic dollars? Jason Bourne will be key. A lot is riding in his shoulders. Jack Baurer is far past his prime, and as recent events has shown he may no longer have it. Snake is an cult icon. He has stated in previous interviews he is not a team guy so could
he coexist on a group of strong personalities, or would he just get in the way. Rama is the young up and comer. Not fully tested but has the most potential out of anyone selected.

    1. See I thought the biggest steal of the Draft was Steve McQueen. That cat was the shit back in his day.

    2. Hahaha this is great just like your last one lol. Well done mr. Kiper. I like the positive and negative on every team. I think it would be funny to see John McClane and Martin Riggs coexist on a team. That is so much crazy, I’m not sure it can be contained haha

    3. I’m inclined to do another draft episode just for another one of these posts! Awesome stuff man.

  5. I did this for the last one so again I have to play the role of Mel Kipper Junior.

No slump here as Delivery Men walked away with the biggest steal of the night grabbing James Bond in the third round. This made up for what was slip up in the second round picking Micael Knight. It was far too early for a pick of that caliber. Many better choices were still on the board. The big question comes with the man directing this team. 6. I played Heroclixs too back in the day. Hearing you talk about it is giving me the itch to start it again. That game is really fun. And now the new company that took over is doing such a better job for what I have seen.

    1. I had no idea those things were still around. It looked interesting, I assumed it was just going to be a fad.

      1. I guess it did stop for awhile but a new company bought it and it appears it is doing better than ever.

    2. That’s what I heard, and the new Guardians set they just came out with is pretty cool.

  7. I’d like to see Samuel L. Jackson in the Expendables 3. Tell me he wouldn’t be awesome as a villain in that series.

    1. Wow I forgot all about him. He would be a great addition. He made a pretty good villain in the movie Unbreakable but he can excel in a more action-heavy role for sure.

    2. I could see that. It’s not like Samuel L. Jackson says no or hasn’t done worst things.

    3. I dunno Samuel L. Jackson is getting overplayed. He’s just doing the same thing over and over again.

      1. Samuel L. Jackson will never get old! That guy does not age and is always fantastic to watch

  8. I voted for The Delivery Men. To me it was unquestionably the best idea. Neither of the other two teams have a theme that connects them and Steve Mcqueen and Sean Connery together is intriguing. I enjoy myself a good car chase. That movie would have a ton.

  9. I’m a fan of some old school action so it’s Gregs team for me. Also Bullitt’s car is awesome. Even with that green color. It is ultra 60s

  10. This was really hard. All teams have their promise. The Delivery Men makes the most sense as a concept, Heroes are Made has the best characters, and Hell Razers is the most intriguing. I vote Hell Razers since it has the best potential for cool action fights.

  11. Sweet concept. Found myself playing along thinking who I’d take. McClain would be my number one, then Bond the Daniel Craig version, then Mad Max.

  12. So I’m about 45 mins in and all I can think is three hoffs 1 movie:

This would not be my team, but was trying to figure out how many hoff roles I could get into one team.

    #1 Michael Knight

    #2 Mitch Buchanan

#3 Nick Fury (The white one) From Agent of Shield when Hoff did that made for TV Movie

#4 John D’Artagnan (Ring of the Musketeers where Hoff Played the character, and Cheech was Aramis)

#5 RC III (played by Peter Parros) Because the hoff needs a sidekick. LOL

My favorite team is Greg’s honestly I would really go see that one.

    Really liked the ep guys!!!

    1. You might a bigger fan of David Hasselhoff then he is of himself. Some deep cuts with your pics but it would be interesting to watch. Lol. Glad you enjoyed the episode. :)

      1. Honestly I was just trying to think of the action roles he has played. There aren’t many. Let’s face it Michael Knight is the most famous one.

Just based on actors haven’t picked which character well except for one…If I was gonna make an actual team it’d be something like this:

        Samuel L. Jackson
        Al Pacino
        Robert De Niro
        Jeremy Renner
Geena Davis (From A Long Kiss Goodnight)

        1. Nice choices there. I’d be curios to know what characters you’d pick for those actors. Some like Jackson have a lot to choose from.

          1. Jackson does yes…. Most likely either Hondo from SWAT or Shaft. I could go completely off grid and say Frozone from The Incredibles lol
