I open my collectibles too. I tried to keep them in a package for a while but it never worked out. I decided why bother getting them if I cant enjoy them. Although I feel bad because if I didn’t open my Walking Dead figures I could have sold them for tons of money.
I keep some exclusives or rare finds still in package – but i’m 90% for opening and displaying – just looks so much cooler!
I tend not to open my collectables anymore. I used to but then found it difficult to keep the dust off of the crevaces of the items. I don’t buy much very often anymore but when I do I leave in package. If I buy 2 then I open one for display. But again depends on the item that is being collected.
