As we are in the month of October today we are counting down our favorite scary characters in television, movies, and books. Before that we go all in on Luke Cage. Dan reviews the new Cage comic and we give our general thoughts on the Luke Cage series. (More to come next week) Greg also gives a review of the biggest show of the summer Stranger Things.

My top 5 would be:
5. Michael Myers
4. Frankenstein’s Monster
3. Creature of the Black Lagoon (there with you Chuck)
2. The Thing from The Thing
1. The Twins from the Shinning.
Nice! Gill-man!
Nice pull with The Twins from the Shinning. I did not even think of them but they are 100% creepy

Freddy would have to be in my top list. That guy literately scared me to death as a kid. I also love a lot of the Universal Monsters like Frankenstein, The Wolfman, and The Mummy. I might even put Leatherface on my list along with the people from The Hills Have Eyes.
Oh those people are creepy from hills have eyes!

I am with you guys on Nosferatu. I get chills still if I watch clips of that movie. I have never saw the entire thing cause I don’t enjoy silent movies. Images are enough to creep me the hell out. Like was that how the guy look? Was it like an elephant man situation. Cause that is some intense makeup for an ancient movie.
I’m not sure but it’s scarier than most of the crap today

I am with Greg on Stranger Things. I like it a lot but the story itself was pretty thing. We you sit back and look at it there was not much there. If it didn’t have so much nostalgia I do not think it would have gotten the love it got.
I disagree with the story being thin. I don’t believe you can call a show with that man rich characters thin. Is the idea behind the upside down super complicated or original? No, but I do not see a problem with that. It was well executed which is what matters.
