This week’s theme: HYPE. Hype in all shapes and sizes. We have classic hype as we revisit our lists of shame and see if those geek properties we were ashamed of never watching/reading are worthy of all their praise. We talk current hype as Dan reviews Mad Max: Fury Road to see if it stands up to all its praise. We talk legendary hype as Chuck talks about one of the most influential films of all time, and we even build some hype as we look forward to Punisher coming to Daredevil next season. So get hyped for this week’s Talking In Circles.

Great episode guys. I didn’t know they made the original TMNT in color. Will need to pick that up.
You won’t regret it! Especially if you’re a big turtles fan.
I put Serenity above the Firefly show as well. I loved the series and still do. And the movie embodied everything about the show and more. Fans of the show I know don’t separate the two and see them as one in the same.
I believe the Alien looks like a human dressed up in a costume cause it takes the resemblance of whatever creature it is born out of. That’s why the one in Alien 3 looks more like a dog shape. But I agree with Greg that Aliens is better than Alien. Its more my speed.
Oh, that is kind of interesting. Thanks!
Ha! I watched A Trip to the Moon on Netflix too. I did not notice the shoe thing though. I will have to go back and watch it now and see if I can spot it. I wonder how true to life people thought that movie was at the time. Like did people 100 years ago think men lived on the moon. I wonder.
