This week’s episode is the first installment of a two episode project. Dan, Chuck, and Greg are attempting to do the impossible by creating the ultimate TV network. All shows are up for grabs and its up to them to design a network that puts all others to shame. For today’s episode we are focusing of the first two days, and it doesn’t take long for the competition to heat up. Before the game starts Dan has a review of the HBO documentary Going Clear and Greg reviews one of the biggest geek books going right now, Ready Player One.

So far my vote goes for Dan. That Monday lineup is stellar. I love all those comedies although I would have gone with 30 Rock or Parks and Rec over Seinfeld.
Unsolved Mysteries used to freak me out as a kid as well. The UFO episodes were particularly freaky for some reason, even today when I hear Robert Stacks voice a chill goes up my spine.
Same here! I could never watch that show late at night, without getting nightmares!
I’ll reserve my vote until I see the full lineups. Right now Dan has the lead for me with his comedy lineup and Walking Dead, which is easily my favorite show on TV right now. There is a lot of great TV that still hasn’t been chosen yet though. How have Gane of Thrones, Arroe, and The Flash not been picked yet.
The best is yet to come sir!
I’m glad there was some unique choices and not just the obvious ones. I started watchung Twilight Zone on Netflix and it still holds up.
I gotta say I listened to a lot of podcasts and most do the same things week in and week out. You guys though know how to bring the interesting ideas that’s for sure. Major props on that.
Another fun episode guys. I was never a bug fan of Seinfeld either to be honest. Ithe never clicked with me. I wish networksecurity now would go with different themes each night. Like why does CW play Arrow and Flash on different nights. They should play back to back.
Seinfeld I’ve found is more enjoyable now that I’m older….. it was always Friends that I could NEVER get into even now.
CW plays Flash and Arrow on different nights so they can pair them up with other shows that might need viewership. At least that’s my assumption.
I always liked Friends. I could relate to a lot of that comedy. Yes I understand it’s a business decision why Arrow and Flash are on different nights. And honestly I tend to watch them On Demand anyways so no idea why I’m complaining.
LOL I DVR them so I can FF the ads!
A little thrown by the animated Monday night block. That just seems to be a re-hash of the Ultimate Saturday Morning to me. I’m voting Dan thus far!
