So glad to hear you guys like this movie as much as I do. Its not great but people make it seem like it is the worst movie ever created. The sequels are nuts but this gets the tone of the game pretty spot on.
yeah the first RE film was good, but as you say the sequels are just bonkers!!

I cannot wait to hear your guys thoughts on House of the Dead. That thing is a big pile of hot garbage. ahh I mean..its great and you should watch it. lol

Something that always bugged me about this movie is the Red Queen was designed to contain viral outbreaks. Basically, it worked perfectly. It may have been cruel, but it did completely contain the virus within the hive. Umbrella programmed her to do this. So why the hell does the same Umbrella then send in their secret service, breaking quarantine and releasing the virus?
These movies work best the less you think about them.
I enjoy the sequels but I can’t argue they are good movies. I find them fun though. Except the last one. That even lost me.
