  1. Loved the variety of the different lists. I would say you all need to see Moonlight because that is my number one currently. Happy to see some love for Ghostbusters as well. I have not seen A Monster’s Call yet but based on Kevin’s description I’ll be catching it in the theater.

    1. Just to limit your expectations slightly, I’m higher than most on this film! Thanks for the comment!!

  3. Great lists everyone! Love this time of year. Some films I still need to see but here is my list so far:

    1. La La Land
    2. Civil War
    3. Hell or High Water
    4. Deadpool
    5. Star Trek: Beyond
    6. Pete’s Dragon
    7. Zootopia
    8. Kubo
    9. A Monster Calls
    10. Don’t Breath

  4. Glad to see the Star Wars love. I loved Rogue One and can’t stand the backlash it is getting from some fans. Insane to me.

  6. I watched La La Land and I’m with Amanda I don’t get the hype. People are making a big deal over an average movie with songs that aren’t that great. Emma Stone was great and I get the praise for her but Gosling was out of his element.

Odd hearing the love for Ghostbusters though it was pretty awful. Not funny and sophomoric jokes. Leslie Jones and Melissa Mccarthy are just not funny to me.

I have not watch a lot of the movies from 2016 so I only have a top 5.

    1. Arrival
    2. Civil War
    3. Manchester By the Sea
    4. Deadpool
    5. Star Trek Beyond
