  1. So happy to see this come back. Being loving this retrospective. This is one of my personal favorite animated movies and you all did it justice. Can not wait until you get to Spirited Away. There is a lot to unpack with that movie and should lead to a great discussion.

  3. It is funny how many people mention that this was their first Hayao Miyazaki movie. It was mine too and many friends of mine that love anime point to it as the starting point. You’d think it would be something like Akira but I reality the hype for that is overblown.
