  1. I have very high expectations when it comes to Marvel so entertainment is not enough for me. Something can be dumb and still be entertaining. Now I liked Guardians Vol 2 a good deal. Not as much as the 1st but it was still good.

    1. I agree that in some films you look for more than ‘simple’ entertainment but I would argue that GotG Vol 2 is more than JUST entertainment. But as you said – even if a movie is just succeeding in the ‘entertainment’ aspect that does not mean it’s a bad film. After all, as Dan said in the episode, movies exist mostly to entertain us in the first place.

  3. I love that Stan Lee is a Watcher now. Love that James Gunn saw a fan theory thought it was cool and put it in his actual movie. If that was Stan Lee’s final cameo I think it would be a great way to go out.
