Geeks:
Kevin @OptimusSolo
Dan @MovieRevolt
Amanda @HardCandiMandi
Right there with you with Suffragette. Better than any other film and there are few enough film portrayals of the Suffrage movement. The film itself was beautiful, engaging and wonderfully acted.Watching this movie should be an extra-credit assignment for all high school history students so they truly understand how brave the women were who fought the war for their rights
I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who was super moved by this film!! I loved the way it depicted the struggle and the gravity of the situation. It showcased how much it truly affected their lives.
Thanks for the listen!
I feel it is the type of movie that people will wonder why there was not more love for it when it came out.
Have any of you seen The End of the Tour? That is my favorite movie of the year so far and I didn’t hear anyone bring it up so I was interested in hearing your thoughts. I found it profoundly moving and simple in the best ways possible. Jason Segal acts his ass of as well. I usually don’t like those types of movies that are about two guys just talking but this one worked for me.
That’s been a blind spot so far for me for 2015. Couldn’t get excited enough to watch that one but definitely plan on catching up with it eventually.
