  1. Never has a fictional couple/romance made me ache the way Jesse and Celine did in the Before trilogy. There’s something so utterly bittersweet seeing all three films in the condensed time frame that I did. You’re reminded of the brevity of your own life. It was inspirational viewing for me, I wanted what those two had so badly as I watched in my dark bedroom by myself at night. Hell, I feel a bit of a pang right now just thinking about these films.

    1. Yeah the Before Films are amazing. Can’t wait to rewatch them soon for MWIRE. Jesse and Celine’s relationship grew over a period of years in and outside of the film continuity. It was just perfect. I had accidently found Before Sunrise on a local station’s afternoon movie theater thingy….. I saw it twice. When Sunset came in 2004… I was delightfully surprised, because when I first saw the poster… I had thought that they were just re running the original in theaters. But no it was a whole new chapter. Then skipping ahead to midnight….. the changes in the couples’ life and man…. damn those films are epic.

  2. The Paypal logic makes no sense. This is from their site –

This includes transactions for any device or technological measure that descrambles a scrambled work, decrypts an encrypted work or otherwise avoids, bypasses, removes, deactivates or impairs a technological measure without the authority of the copyright owner.

So, I’m not longer able to encrypt (and thereby decrypt) copyrighted material? So, all home wifi routers that use WEP are against the rules. Heck, watching Netflix over HTTPS is against the rules; I didn’t get the copyright owner’s permission to decrypt my end of the HTTPS traffic.

  3. Westley and Buttercup. So many great scenes for them. My favorite is when Buttercup shoves him down the hill and he’s yelling “As you wish” and then she flings herself down the hill after him.

  7. I always liked the chemistry with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. Don’t know what movie is better 50 First Dates or Wedding Singer. Both are great.

My other would be Ben Stiller and Cameron Diaz in Something About Mary.
