Okay so far Kevin and Matt I voted for the Rocky films. I mean they are pieces of Americana that should be watched. They aren’t the greatest movies on the list and they get worse as they go on…or better depending on how you look at it.
For Amanda I went The Godfather. They are two of the greatest American movies ever made and changed movies forever.
For Dan I voted for Casino. I mean come on now. How can you say you love Goodfellas but never seen Casino? That’s shameful for sure. ;). But seriously it may be my favorite out of all Scorsese’s movies,
Depends on what you are ranking on. Based on sheer quality than I agree with most. For HardCandiMandi I went with Goonies because its a pop culture Icon, and for MovieRevolt I Went with Friday the 13th because it is my favorite of the bunch. Could easily go the exorcist as well.
I always struggle with my list of shame as well because I tend to keep adding to it I feel like I’m digging up hill. I tried watching all of the AFI top 100 movies and the top 250 on IMDB but that’s a never ending battle. I finished the AFI top 100 and I would recommend doing that for any movie fan.

The not seeing any Rocky movies is the most surprising to me. There are so many of them and TNT use to play them all the time. Especially anyone who grew up in the 80’s.

So I broke it down based on what movie I think people will like.
For Kevin I voted for The Iron Giant because of how much of an Animation fan you are. If you don’t like horror I wouldn’t think you would like the horror movies, I have never seen the Before movies I can’t speak on those, if you don’t like sports movies you won’t like Rocky, and the Bond movies aren’t all that great if you ask me.
For Amanda I went with Enter the Dragon. The Goonies and Breakfast Blub are both very generational and don’t hold up well if you didn’t watch them during their time. The Godfather is an all time great but if you don’t like mob movies maybe it won’t work for you. I have no idea what Sid and Nancy are and Passion of the Christ is not a movie you need to see.
FridleyCent was the toughest. I am torn between Tron which is a movie I do like and if you are into video games especially classic ones you may enjoy it more than those that aren’t. A Clockwork Orange would be the other one if you just like movies that are well written. The other ones you listed are kind of lumped all together so it makes me think maybe you won’t like those types of movies.
For Dan I went with Planes, Trains, and Automobiles because for god sakes how can you not have watched the Best Thanksgiving movie ever. That or Wayne’s World. Watch both and have some laughs.
