  1. Am I the only one that thinks John Williams should have not done any of the scores for the new Star Wars. The guy is a legend the best in the business for sure. It’s just time to pass the torch to someone new. Abrams was so set on letting these movies establish their own legacy. Why not allow someone else to score then?

    1. I love the fact that he is doing the score for Ep VII. Because it gives him a challenge to craft new themes for new characters. Yes Williams is a Legend, and Star Wars helped him become that, so seeing him back again gives me new hope for the future of the franchise. All that’s been announced is that he is doing The Force Awakens right? Who knows they might branch out in the future. I think the other reason why he’s doing it is that Abrams wants to really stay true to the legacy maybe?

      1. I think it’s more Williams made Star Wars a legend than Star Wars made Williams a legend. But I get your point.

          1. Take away Williams score from Star Wars and you don’t have nearly the same movie. Will it be good? Sure. But watch some of the most iconic scenes without the score and they aren’t nearly as good.

          2. It would still be the iconic hit it is though, just as Williams would still be a legend without it

          3. If all it took was a Williams score to make a Star Wars movie great wouldn’t the prequels also be great then?

      2. Did you listen to the episode? We talked about what Williams was doing and how the franchise is going about scores for other films…

        1. Yes I did listen, but the story all over the net is that he will be scoring the main film. I’m focussing on the core films at this point. Not too concerned with the spinoffs. As long as his scores are on the main films all Star Wars fans will be happy. And yes it’s gonna be interesting to see who else they bring in.

          1. Right, that’s what we said – he would be doing the core films for now…

  2. I rank Ferrells best performances as Anchorman, Stranger than Fiction, and Old School. Worst as Anchorman 2, The Campaign cause it was a worse version of his GW impression, and The Producers. That movie version of it just didn’t work.

Other actors you should do: Jake Gyllenhaal, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman,Eddie Murphy, Bill Murray, Ryan Gosling, Ryan Reynolds, Leonardo Dicaprio, Jonah Hill, Emma Stone, Tilda Swinton, Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, and Sandra Bullock.

    1. There’s a lot of my choices there but I’d like to add Harrison Ford to that list.

  3. What about doing an episode on Tom Cruise? Did you see the M:I 5 trailer? That thing looks sick.
