  1. Great episode guys. So many memories, remember when Sony released UMD with their gen 1 psp. I brought over a dozen of those umd film and was always on the lookout for a desktop player so you could watch them off the psp but it never happened. I also remember Nokia N-gage had playable games you had on sd card. I had tomb raider and it was a good scaled down game.
I also have about 200 Betamax tapes in my collection and about the same in VHS. They are in my man cave and I watch them occasionally.
As for PC, I remember in 1997 going I to our local electronics store and buying out first PC. Hewlett Packard with 17 inch CRT and the speakers mounted to the side of the monitor. Packing a massive 4gb hard drive running a pentium 2 brain. And the cost, $5000. I still have it, aswell as a laptop from 1992 running win 3.1 ha ha. Some of that old tech is amazing

    1. Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. I was doing some digging the other day and was realizing the change in mediums and found the whole subject interesting to cover. Plus it got out some of that geeky tech side I enjoy from time to time.

You sound a lot like my brother keeping into all the older tech. Nothing wrong with it as I stated as you enjoy it and that’s what matters most. I have some old tech that I will try to use again but it is more on the storage side of things.

      Again thanks!
