  1. Thanks Ryan! Glad you enjoyed my comment. For me right now WWE is like a class that has awesome students with a really bad teacher. Its like when a teacher can’t stick with rules or regulations. They keep changing rules up every week but in the wrong way. I don’t invest in the lesson or rules you are setting up this week because I am pretty sure none of it will matter next week.

Fastlane is the perfect example. That main event now means nothing. Ambrose loses, but now after last Raw will be getting a title shot BEFORE Roman. It what other sport would that happen? And you completely cut the legs under Roman AGAIN. Yes I would rather see Ambrose but I also know it is unlikely he’s winning against HHH, and will be set up to take on Brock at Wrestlemania. A match they were building towards and made sense after Fastlane. Now if/when Ambrose loses that Brock match is like the losers bracket of a tournament. People playing for 4th and 5th place. Everything is so unfocused.

The Rumble did a great job of setting up possible feuds an instead of capitalizing they have done nothing. You guys are right on with The Wyatts. Having them feud with Brock could have gotten their monster status back. Imagine if Bray were to beat Brock at Wrestlemania. It would have been perfect. Brock has showed his dominance so you aren’t hurting him any, and you give Wyatts part of their mystique back knowing they are the guys who took out the one person no one else could.

Even when they do something amazing they find a way to screw it up. Look at Shane O Mac coming back. One of the best Raw moments in years. Great segment that lead to a match that makes NO SENSE. Shane has no reason to what to be in the match. Based on what he said he already has the control he is looking for. And why the hell would The Undertaker want to help Vince or care at all? Even this past week The Undertaker segment failed to give a reason. I am sure the match will be great but if this is Undertakers last match they should be ashamed. He’s a side piece in a McMahon family struggle. A tool with nothing to gain at all from this. What a waste.

There is so much ridiculous talent in WWE but nearly everyone is being misused or forced into matches or feuds that make little sense or do much to get my attention. Are they really going to make Kevin Owens fight The Big Show at Wrestlemania. Seriously? When you have Sammi Zayn and AJ Styles feuds right there for you to take advantage of?

I was actually excited for Wrestlemania after The Rumble. I had my issues but overall what they had setup looked good for the future. Only a month or so later and they have destroyed all of that and then some.

I might move to just watching Lucha Underground, ROH, and TNA. They are killing it right now while WWE fails time and time again.

    1. So since I posted this a lot has changed. It demonstrates though how the WWE network can cut the teeth out of stories sometimes. They are building all these different story lines for the same wrestlers at the same time its hard to know which one you are supposed to care about. Although it feels like they have something cooking with Bray and HHH. Something I never wanted to see previously but after their stare down at Rumble and Bray’s touching of the belt on Monday. I don’t know there is something there that could be awesome between those two.

I do have to say I was wrong and I am now looking forward to what they have with Kevin Owens and Mania. Though why take this long to build up that match. Owens and Sammi deserves a better build than what its going to get.

      1. See for me I likes who I likes no matter what. Yeah superstars can be put into shit storylines, but as long as they don’t majorly effect the character I’m cool. Like with Owens and Ambrose… LOVE Owens as the Heel, and Ambrose as a mix between heel and face. He’s his own unique kinda character.

The poor US Belt though damn we need Cena back fer that thing.

        1. It’s not about liking characters its about giving them story lines that mean something. I love Kevin Owens as well. His match with Sammi will be great as it always is. The problem is wasting it by not utilizing the feud to tell a good story. It’s like a great action movie. The best action movies have both great action and great stories like Die Hard or The Matrix. Great wrestler also requires a great story.

One of my personal favorite matches with Bret Hart vs Stone Cold at Wrestlemania. It is a perfectly told story driven by two amazing characters that were both building up to most organic double heel and face turns of all time. It’s not just about crazy movies, breaking tables, and high spots. Those types of matches will get ‘This is Awesome chants” Great matches with great story lines will forever change the business like Brett vs Stone Cold did.

The issue now with WWE is its trying to tell a ton of different stories at the same time, just plan bad stories, or no stories at all. I love what they are doing with Ambrose. Its clearer than ever he should be the guy.

If only it was building to the Main Event at Wrestlemania rather than Road Block I’d be even more psyched. But its only just that a Roadblock for Ambrose who will go off to face Brock and Roman returns.

Its not that WWE is void of good stories. The Y2AJ thing was brilliant, especially with the details. Something like having them come out with brand new shirts for a Tag Championship match usually means this is a team that will be around for a good deal of time. I expected them to turn on each other but not nearly that soon. My only issue is now that they have wrestled each other so much I don’t know what they can wrestle for at Mania. My guess is it will be a submission match or something like that.

I don’t like seeing talent I like getting wasted. It happened to CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, and now Ambrose and many others. Talent that has it all just not whatever imaginary thing Vince has made up to make him think they can’t be the guy.

          1. DB did get wasted, but that also had nothing to do with shitty storytelling… his injuries overtook any crappy story they’d end up giving him.

          2. I could not disagree more. His injuries had little to do with his misuse. His injury wasn’t the reason he lost to Sheamus in 3 seconds at Wrestlemania. His injuries had nothing do with with the commentary always burying him week in and week out.Like putting him with The Wyatt Family, It was a demotion for a man who has spent the majority of the past 6 months prior on top of the card. WWE never believed he’d get over despite the obvious fact he was.

Even weirder when you look at how it started Bryan was probably the most over guy in the company, and finally gets a shot to be the “face of the WWE” by beating John Cena clean at Summerslam for the WWE title. Of course, HHH turns on him, Randy Orton cashes in, and Bryan spends the rest of the year unsuccessfully chasing the title and then placed in an odd feud with Bray Wyatt.

Bryan loses to Wyatt in the blow off of their feud at Royal Rumble and is not placed in the Royal Rumble match. Bryan is scheduled to have a third Wrestlemania match with Sheamus, but the fans’ poor reaction to Batista and their overwhelming demand for Bryan leaded to Bryan winning two major matches at Wrestlemania, including winning the WWE World Heavyweight Title in the main event. So even when they used him right it was like pulling teeth with the WWE.

He constantly was given crap and made it work. Like Team Hell No. They were somehow able to become one of the most entertaining tag teams of the modern era and get a decent run with the tag titles.

Yea his career could have been more without injuries but Daniel Bryan was successful in spite WWE not because of them.
