Loved your review of Wolf of Wall Street. I am pretty much in line with both of you, but I think I liked it even more.
The best movie gift I ever got was the Universal Monsters Blu Ray set. It’s so full of classically awesome movie. A close second is the Alfred Hitchcock box set.
Glad to hear good things about Wolf of Wall Street. I’ve been too busy to see it in the theater, but will surely catch it when it comes to Red Box.
My all time movie gift is the surround sound I got this year. No need to go to the movies any more with my big screen chairs and now the sound to tie it all together. So sweet.
You guys need to work on your sound levels in the future. The volume between your microphones is such a huge contrast that I had to keep fumbling with my speakers.
Sorry about that. I can usually fix that issue, but I was using new audio editing software. Shouldn’t be a problem in the future.
Apologies, no one has ever said anything about it so we’ll keep an eye on it going forward
People need stop being so prudish with The Wolf of Wall street. That story about the academy bugs the ever loving hell out of me. Seriously, its not like they are saying this behavior was okay or promoting it.
The best movie gift I ever received was Netflix from my friend. It was before it was such a big deal, and I feel in love. I watched so many movies I would have otherwise dismissed.
Wolf of Wall Street is my movie of the year. Will you guys be doing a movie of the year or top 10 countdown? I can’t get enough of those?
I usually get the normal movie gift stuff. Blu Rays, movie tickets, ect.. This year I got the Dark Knight Trilogy collector set and that thing is kick ass.
Yea, as we said in the podcast, there will be upcoming episodes covering what was 2013 and what will be for 2014! :) Looking forward to it!
Nice! I love end of the year stuff!
My best movie gift was my 108 inch TV, Yep you heard that right. It’s like a living movie theater. So cool. A little excessive, but still awesome.
nice!
The Dawn of the Planet of the Apes trailer has me super excited. The first was was such a huge surprise and I hope the same for the second. I got a pretty awesome gift this year as my friend pick me up a lovely gift card to my local theater for a great deal of money. Gotta love seeing movies for free.
I’ve never even thought about great movie theme gifts I have gotten. I guess just Blu Rays and DVDS.
Kung Fury looks like the greatest movie ever made if it actually happens.
The one that stands out to me the most was when I was a kid and got a my own VCR for my room. Now I could watch movies in my room by myself. It was a gift my parents soon regretted getting me of course.
The best movie gift I was ever given was when I was introduced to podcasting. Honestly it was a world I was so unaware of. I always loved talking and listening about movies and once I found out there were so many movie podcasts out there I ate them up!
