TFG1Mike is a geek with many interests. He has been podcasting for over a decade, and sees no stopping point in sight. From Transformers, He-Man, Batman, Comics, movies, video games, cartoons, and so much more, Mike has a zeal for the things he loves, and he will bring the hammer down on the things that he has a disdain for. He's generally a postive person, but negativity can creep in there. Mike is all about the innuendos and innuendon'ts too. You'll hear him on many of The GCRN podcasts!

  1. The Monster of Phineas N Ferbstein: Whose Ferbstein? There was a PHINEASstein, but not Ferbstein? Anyway, this feels like a precursor to the Season 3 timeshift episodes, and i really like it. Not only is the setting the unique, but it’s really funny with not only the standalone jokes, but it how uses the shows elements. (Like how Constance calls on Mob). I also like how both plots tackle different classic monster stories, and how they intersect is cool. (Yes, they do intersect, the platypus monster flat out EATS Jekyll. Can’t get more direct than that). So yeah, it gets an 8.4/10

Oil on Candace: It’s a Mixed Bag. While Perry has no motivation for cruely screwing Doof over, his subplot is still solid enough with a fun song. The main plot has a sweet idea, and i usually fall for that…but the problem is that Django is boring. There’s not much to him and he’s not funny. As in, they don’t even try to give him a funny personality at all. This plot isn’t very funny in general so this is a problem. As it is, it’s just kind of bland a dull. so sadly, i have to give it a 6.5/10

  3. I’ve been listening every day and just wanted to tell you how much I am enjoying the daily podcast. I am more Ferbian so I don’t say much, but I wanted to let you know that you do have many more fans out there, even if we may not be commenting.

Even though I’ve seen every episode numerous times, I am currently rewatching them all, spread out over 104 days of summer (from just before Memorial Day up until Labor Day). Coming up on the halfway point soon, so almost finished watching through Season 2. It’s fun to hear other people’s opinions, what they find funny, what they like and don’t like. I’ve only disagreed with you guys a few times, for instance I really liked the Jerk de Soleil episode (the one where Django had several lines, he was the boy that could put his foot behind his head). Also, I’m sure he was named after Swampy’s son, but I don’t know if Beppo has any meaning.

Keep up the great work guys and I’ll be sure to continue listening every morning!

    1. thanks so much glad you are liking the show! my hope is to have dan and swampy on for an interview so we can ask them all the questions we have! Ferbian listeners are fine, but commenting helps us realize there are people out there listening. we would never know unless we were told! Thank you so much!!
