Glad you guys are back with this. When I saw the podcast was up I was like Baljeet at the science fair – I couldn’t stop smiling. Plus it’s a great excuse for me to watch the episodes again.
I really enjoyed this episode. For some reason if felt a little different than past episodes – Doof had some great interactions with Perry, Candace was obsessed about something besides busting the boys, and the dialog in general seemed more real for some reason, as I could see my family making nose puns in the car and being annoyed at the “crazy people I live with.” Lots of great visual gags too, the snowglobe/Nosebud of course, and Candace yelling through the megaphone at the duck always makes me laugh.
I thought the songs were ok (OK!) and enjoyed them, although it may have been better if Grandpa had been there to sing about Nosey like he did about Bigfoot (I’m a fan of the camping episodes, ha). Loved that they brought up Bigfoot and the face on Mars again. I felt bad for Ferb when Phineas smashed the camera Ferb got for Bastille Day. And not having Isabella or a whatchadoin was disappointing, episodes are just more enjoyable when she is in them. And I can’t say that Baywatch Candace did anything for me, lol. OK!
Glad you are happy we are back, we love doing the show, and I hope that comes across!

Thanks for the shoutout! For a season premiere, this was solid. I wouldn’t say there’s a ton of great jokes in the main story, and the songs are weak but the Doof plot is very funny in how chill it is, and the main plot while cliche is sweet especially with Candace giving up a chance to prove she’s not crazy. Speaking of Candace, Bob Webber is amazing. The Citzen Kane reference gets me everytime.
While it’s not quite as epic as the other 2 parters, it has it’s moments, so I’ll give it a 7.4/10. Could be higher if there was better songs or a few more great moments, but as it is, it is fun enough and a good start ot the season.
