  1. Don’t Even Blink:

This is a neat episode that runs off it’s concept. It is one of those where the concept is more notable than anything else, so it’s not my favorite, but i do still quite enjoy. THe song is great and there’s some fun gags. The Doof plot steals the show here, especially the Invisible tiger. So yeah, it’s a fun one. 7.4/10

    Chez Platypus:

This is another one with a fun vibe. There’s some good gags with Candace (although I don’t get why Buford randomly hates her tom the point of accepting bribes then not letting her in) and a nice ending. The doof plot again is the most notable with the sweet song. THe ending is a bit cruel to be fair, he did bring it on on himself since his own inator hit her in the end. The ending does still take away from it, but it’s still a fun enough episode. 7.3/10

    Perry Lays an Egg:

The Doof plot steals the show here with how dumb his plan is, and then how he chases Perry. (“Thrawt Me, Perry the platypus”). The main plot is slightly mixed. There’s some good jokes, and i like how for once, the boys big idea is called out as ineffectual for this situation. Which makes it odd that Candace is punished in the end even though she’s right. However, most of that is still funny “(see, he gets it!”) so i can kinda forgive it, but i will dock points for it.

So yeah, not my favorite but it has it’s moments. 7.3/10

    Gaming the System:

First up, i love the tittle pun. Anyway, they use the concept pretty well here. The game stuff is fun and the Doof plot is another really funny one. Pretty much everything works here, although i have one small complaint. The part where the boys die but then it turns out they had more lives. Like Candace says, they pretty much let her think they’re dead. That not only takes the sting out of that moment, but it’s kind of harsh.

Aside from that, this one is fun, although it might need more to get a higher rating. 7.4/10

  3. Don’t Even Blink – great episode, I loved the song just like you guys. In one of the Phineas and Ferb panels at Comic-Con, Vincent said it was one of his favorites too, at least at the time. I really liked the idea of Candace wanting to find out where the inventions go every day, and even though I knew she would not find out in the end, it was fun to see it play out.

Chez Platypus was another great episode with a great song. Evil Love Song has lots of covers on YouTube, some actually pretty good. Add in the giant floating baby head, Fireside Girl waitresses, Buford and his velvet rope, and Isabella with another ‘whatcha eatin?’ and you’ve got a recipe for some great fun. (pun intended? yes, yes it is).

    Rant Time!
That actually reminds me of something I always found frustrating in the first season and a half. The main reason I would get excited when episodes involved the Fireside Girls is that I would wonder if it would finally be the episode where they would get names. At this point the show had been on the air for almost a year and a half, they had been involved in big ways in many episodes, and we still didn’t even know their names yet (other than Gretchen which was just mentioned in passing and not associated with a certain character). I was also waiting for Isabella to finally get a song to sing, not sure why that took so long either. Even through all four seasons I think she only got to sing a song by herself in maybe a dozen episodes. I would love to have had a lot more, such a great voice in my opinion.

    Sorry, rant over.

Perry Lays an Egg and Gaming the System were good as well, I just happened to like the other two episodes better. I don’t think there’s much I can add that wasn’t already discussed in the podcast.
