Now here’s a notable episode that gets loved, mostly for how it was the first real big adventures for the Phineas story. Up to this point, Doof got the big action stuff, but here Doof is mostly silly fun while the boys go into space to fight aliens.
Although this does start as simply hijnkx, in fact it was going to be an 11 minute episode before they decided to make it a double length episode. I will say now that i think it’s more notable for being to being the first to do this than anything else.
It is pretty good. It’ got tons of good gags, rocking Ferb song, cool references and such, and a nice riffing of the don’t judge a book by it’s cover message. Plus, one of Doof’s best backstories. It’s that they do other epic stories after this and this does seem slightly tame in comparison meaning it won’t stand as one of my favorites. (I prefer the sequel but we’ll get to that)
Speaking of, gotta love that fake trailer that became real. So yeah, it’s nt as epic as later eps, but it is a good deal of fun . So..7.8/10. almost an 8 but eh, i think me liking the sequel more makes me like this one slightly less. I swear we’ll get to a 8/10 ep soon enough.

Loved all of Doof’s backstories that led into other backstories. Was this the first time that he mentioned he had been raised by ocelots? I wish they had told more about that story.
And if I ever form a band I think it will be called Disintegrating Rainbow Puke. Thanks for the great name.
I think so, but not sure on Doof’s Ocelot Parents, I know he mentions them more as we go along past this. Thanks for listening!
