(Small correction: Canderemy is the one where they are conjoined. Mandace is
when Candace becomes a Pizza Delivery boy)
Thaddeus and Thor:
This episode has some interesting nuances that make it interesting. This
whole plot starts because Candace is bragging about how awesome their
inventions are. (She says they have a “sprinkling of awesome-ness”
that makes them more annoying). She’s even clearly disappointed when
their fort is up to their usual standards at all. It shows that she
kind of likes their big ideas, even if she doesn’t always show it.
And there’s how Phineas is treating it like a friendly competition when
it’s clearly not. Again, he’s oblivious and here they don’t spell it
out. This gives the main plot more naunce than it might, since it is
a tad mundane and predictable. It has it’s fun gags (“Gum me”
“Puh-lease”) and the Doof plot is very fun, with a cool parody
song.
So while it’s not the funniest, it has it’s charms and small nuances that make
it interesting. Weird how Thaddues and thor never show up again, yet
Mandy does. 7.3/10.
De Plane De Plane:
This episode is fairly regular. The plot itself is just kind of there. Not
much to either of them, and Candace’s rehashes a previous one, which
they point out. However, the jokes are pretty solid, from Buford
failing to make them laugh, to the pilot’s instruments, to the people
ptting safety gear on Candace.
If the plot had more to it, I would have liked this a lot more. Also, the
ending is kind of…there. It just kind of stops. Also, fun song. So
yeah, the plot isn’t too special but the jokes are solid. There’s
nothing that too wrong with it but a ton to bring it up. So, I’ll
give it a 7. If it had more to it, I would have given a .3 but as it
is, eh.
