  1. It’s great to have you guys back

    JUST PASSING THROUGH:

This episode is fine. I tend to forget about it because there’s over 200 episodes, so who would remember an episode like this? But looking back, there is plenty to like. I like the invention (who wouldn’t want one of those orb things?), the location is neat, and there’s some funny lines/moments. And the song is awesome.

It’s also interesting how the kids would have died without Candace’s intervention. Yeah. I think the problem, besides going too fast like you said, is that there’s not much to the plot. They make an orb thing and that’s about it, it’s the little moments that make it work this time.

But still, it’s alright. 7.2/10. The 2 is for the song. That’s about it.

    CANDACE’S BIG DAY:

This one is solid. The concept is nothing new and Candace can get be a bit much but the execution works. Candace has a good reason and they do some fun jokes with her, plus she learns her lesson in the end. (Even with the very very ending joke).

The doof plot steals the show, with how they make fun of a typical “Healthy eating” plot a llot of shows are forced to do. The Elevator gag was great too. The main plot has it’s jokes too like anything with Bob Webber and Isabella saying “Got it!’.

The song is also pretty nice. Overall, some slightly weak aspects but mostly fun, memorable, and even kind of sweet. 7.4/10.

    1. Thanks TJ!!!

as of right now we have 44-50 recorded. 44-46 are out, 47 tomorrow…. I’m editing about 2 eps a day and getting them ready to be online. Might take a few days off though so we can build the buffer back up. Right now we are getting ready to record 51-52 next week. A LOT of 2 parters coming up!!!

  3. Yay, you guys are back with more POWCA, that’s more than Okay!

I must say that I agree with you guys on the first episode, I found it average (okay) as well, but there were a few things in it that bugged me, the main one being the effect of the device on the kids. When they first use it, they fall though the floor to the living room below, but they never fall through anything else. I would have thought they would go right through the ground every time it was activated, but it’s like they can choose what to go through. Then you have the steamroller go down a hill and back up to where it started, not sure how the physics works out on that. And the fact that all the kids were seconds away from death is rather dark for the show. But I did like the high five with Candace when she was stuck in the door, and the ‘I have a life outside of you’ line was great, it’s very much like the ‘You don’t know everything about me’ line used a few times in other episodes. And though I didn’t recognize the voices at the time, John Schneider and Tom Wopat voiced the Wilkins brothers, so that was neat as well.

I really liked the wedding episode. Having Phineas and Ferb and Candace all working together instead of her trying to bust them is a good change of pace that I wish was used more often throughout the series. Seeing how they get on her nerves and drive her crazy makes me laugh every time. Candace kind of reminds me of Willy Wonka (the Gene Wilder version) throughout the episode, how she starts out normal, gets more frustrated during the day, and by the end she has gone nearly mad and her hair is flying out in every direction. “My hair, I think it may also have a chicken in it.” Isabella’s “I got it!” was hilarious, and the song at the end was perfect as well, a great end to a great episode. And yay for Django getting a brief appearance. Anybody else think that Bob and Tiana should have their own show?

I’m guessing that Tiana was meant to be Linda’s sister. Not sure where I read this, probably the wiki, but Tiana and Linda are both named after Dan Povenmire’s sisters. I love how he includes his personal life in the show. And since you asked, and because I had a little too much free time, I counted a total of 17 Okays in the episode: Bob(6), Phineas(3), Doof(3), Tiana(2), Candace(2), and Linda(1).
