  1. I have been listening to the podcast. I still need to listen to your comments on “The Deep End.” But I have a few thoughts. First, there are issues with “Courage of Adam.” There are two plot holes. Both have to do with Adam being held captive by Skeletor. In one scene, we see Man-At-Arms and Orko discussing Adam’s rescue. Orko is sent to carry out his plan to use Cringer as a Panthor decoy to go in to retrieve Adam. In this scene, MAA looks back at the robots used in the training scene as if he might use them to retrieve Adam. But, he doesn’t. Orko and Cringer proceed. But Cringer is startled by the spy orb, so he leaves Snake Mountain and Adam is still captive. Cut to next scene and we have the fight with Skeletor’s bone giant. The masters are there WITH ADAM! How did Adam escape?! We never saw it. I thought my DVD had skipped a scene. But, no. Neither of you mentioned it. I watched the episode three times, including one with the commentary. Even the showrunners failed to mention why this was done. I thought for sure there was a time jump or MAA had the robots fight the bone giant. But no.

Speaking of the bone giant. Why did Triclops have to build that thing when it wasn’t actually mechanical at all? It seemed more magical, to me. That thing rolls out and all of the bones suddenly form this walking giant? It didn’t make sense.

I can’t give this episode more than a one star rating. It was sloppy. If I missed something, I would like to know. And I will change my thoughts accordingly.

I have always enjoyed “Sky War” since it introduces us to Buzz-Off in this universe. I like the whole concept here. Plus, I like the hint at the coming feud in the “Courage of Adam” episode where Stratos and Adam are making their journey to speak to them in an effort to de-escalate tensions. It was a strong episode. 4 stars.

“The Deep End” was another misfire. Sure, it gives Skeletor a reason to wonder why Castle Grayskull is so important to Teela and the Masters. But, the crystals enlarging this fish and that whole bit was just boring. They can do better. 2 stars.

    1. Re the bone giant….. Triklops makes everything apparently, evil lyn crafts spells, and beast man, well he smells, and controls animals! LOL

Thanks for always commenting and listening Tim, it means alot.
