  1. Total surprise! Mike, I didn’t realize you were moving…and to the Pacific NW, too. I thought you were moving back to Louisville? Anyway, I guess there is a lot I have missed on social media lately. I am going to miss hearing you on the many GCR podcasts during your hiatus during the move. Too bad the series couldn’t have been wrapped up before your move, but I get it. Having moved a few states last year around this time, myself, I understand completely. Thank you for the shout out. I’ve enjoyed being a part of this amazing journey over the years. You guy have made it more fun, as getting to watch the episodes is kind of prep for the discussions on the podcast, and i enjoy hearing your analysis.

As for the episodes, I’m a bit lukewarm on this whole snake men plot. Maybe I will change my mind, but I’d prefer to see more development with classic characters and introductions of those characters we haven’t seen yet. That said, I did like the various snake men powers.

The Price of Deceit, written by Larry, was the highlight in this group of episodes. Larry loves to write Evil-Lyn; he says so in the commentary for the episode, and he just does it so well. Getting to see a few flashbacks linking her to Skeletor was a treat. Plus, it was done well. It was good to see various links rather then one long sequence. He-Man saying her and Evil-Lyn being so shocked, was one of those fanboy moments. It reminds me of the original series episode with she and Teela.

The snake men two-parter gets a 2.5 from me. But Price of Deceit gets a 4.5 out of 5.

    1. Thanks Tim. We havenm’t really announced it on social media as far as the move. We most likely won’t until we are out there. However due to podcasts, I had to say it in several…. to cover all the bases.
