  1. I haven’t listened to the podcast yet to hear your thoughts, but these were three very good episodes. In fact, I’m giving one of them a solid 5 out of 5 Orkos. Which one? Surprisingly the one written by Douglas Booth, who wrote that atrocious episode a while back.

“Masks Of Power” was a 5 Orko episode for me. It had the mystical elements, Skeletor, and the pacing and storytelling were good. I liked that He-Man’s sword merged with the Sword of the Ancients to possibly even give his sword more power. I just loved this one. Orkos: 5

”Ordeal In The Darklands” – The title alone on this one set my expectations high and I was not disappointed. Teela wanting to face danger in the Darklands was a good way to give her some good story moments and try to do more with her character. I liked the design of the Lizard Men, too, as well as Kor and his daughter, who was an attractive young woman. The fact that Teela had to venture to Snake Mountain to save her was great. Add in that we got to see Tri-Clops and Teela face off and you have a great episode. 4.5 Orkos

“The City Beneath the Sea” was another fun episode to watch. These episodes are the types of adventures that He-Man and the 80’s were made for. I love seeing new worlds, or in this case, areas of Eternia. The Aquaticans designs were great. The monster was cool and the pacing of this episode was overall very good. I loved this one too. 4.5 Orkos

I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on these.

      1. I know. I love DiTillio’s work. I could go 5 on Larry’s episode though. If I weren’t comparing it to the Marks of Power I probably would have ranked it a 5. It was very good. Anyway, looking forward to listening to the show soon.

    1. I agree with you on 2 of the three episodes…if you haven’t listened to the podcast yet though prepare to be disappointed with my thoughts on the other one ;)

      1. I understand why you would have some issues with “Masks Of Power” but I thought it was an entertaining episode. It had several elements that I actually liked.

Come, on, Mike! One Orko for”Ordeal In The Darklands?” Teela had decided to go to the Darklands before being told by Man-at-Arms not to go. Kids do that sort of thing, so I thought it was a good way to relate to kids watching the show. The episode had a lot of good things going for it.
