  1. It took me a while to get around to watching the episodes this time. Overall, three good episodes.

Disappearing Dragons – I also liked the return of Granamyr and the Dark Smoke characters. It is great to see some continuity in the series, and Larry DiTillio delivers an entertaining story here. This is what the series should be, mixing sci-fi, adventure, sorcery and mysticism. I didn’t like the giant robot design so much, but otherwise felt this was a good episode. Oh, and like Kevin, I am also getting annoyed with Buzz-Off. I never liked his voice, and it’s a major sore point for me when watching the episodes. 4 Orkos

Island of Fear – Come on! This is the best episode this week. First, I was happy to see that Skeletor was behind the scheme to use the moving island to break up the damn and flood Eternia. It never crossed my mind that we had had the earlier episode about missing ships. As was stated during the episode, either Khan or Whiplash, I think, said this was one of Skeletor’s most brilliant plans. And I agree. If you were truly an evil genius, you would use tactics like this. I don’t feel it is beneath Skeletor at all, which was Mike’s argument against this plot. I like Cobra Kahn, so it was great to see him. Getting to see new characters is a pleasure. For me, this one was better than your average episode and I applaud the writer. 5 Orkos

Revenge is Never Sweet – Douglas Booth is a good writer, but he has his moments. Heck, I love Paul Dini, too, but even he has some mediocre plots. It happens. And this one felt forced to me. It was so focused on delivering its message that it truly got in the way. There were some good story elements here. It honestly had potential to be a much better episode, but because it was trying so hard to shove the “revenge is bad” message down our throats, it completely took away from the enjoyment. One thing I liked that I think they got right and could have taken further was the Evil-Lyn storyline. We’ve seen her warm up to Teela in the past and show that she can even go against Skeletor when needed to serve her own interests or engage in the greater good. So we’ve seen that she isn’t all bad. She can think and act for herself. She’s similar to a character like Black Aracnia, to reference TF. This wasn’t a terrible episode, but I found I was bored with it and just wanting it to end. 2 Orkos
