Robin Lord Taylor is currently the best thing about Gotham right now. I love his take on Cobblepot especially after last night’s episode.
he’s interesting yes, but VERY creepy. That walk is nuts!!! Thanks for listening hope you continue to listen. I have many awesome things lined up for RC!
Is it me or does or does Gotham look really cheap. Any of the city shots look so fake and unbelievable. It looks like they are shooting a miniature set or something.
I like how upscale the theater district looked, and the alley where the Waynes were killed looked cleaner than what they usually depict it to be. As I stated in the ep I saw a behind the scenes thing on my OnDemand showing that the GCPD set is real in certain places. Thanks for listening!!!! Hope you liked it.
It’s more of the establishing shots I have an issue with. When they are at the location it looks just like any other city. Which is part of the problem. What we see from a far looks more stylized then what we get up close. Hoping that gets better as the season moves on.
agreed!
I agree Robin Lord Taylor has been great so far, I also like Donald Logue as Bullock.
I don’t understand the huge issue with the age of the characters. Penguin is about 10-15 years older than Bruce which if anything is less than normally portrayed in the comics. Enigma is about the same. Bruce appears to be around 10-12ish and Enigma is mid twenties or so. 10 years is not that big of a difference if Bruce is Batman in his twenties and 30’s.
I would love it if Gotham could exist in the Dark Knight universe but I also see some issues with that. Mainly how do you get any of the same actors, which I doubt you could. So then you are recasting a bunch of parts so it would be different anyway. I could also see Nolan getting ticked off someone is taking a universe he created and ruining it bit by bit.
yeah it’s a slippery slope there. I still would rather have michael caine than the guy in Gotham as alfred.
