  1. If this is a negative review of Frozen please let me know so I don’t listen and get pissed off :)

      1. Ugh, now I wish Dan or I had been able to be on this record. I didn’t realize you were going to go full retard on it!! :)

          1. The two movies are nothing alike, you’re not making any sense whatsoever

        1. I was the saving grace for the film trying to represent it the best I could. Yes would have been nicer to have either of you on it to help in either direction. But this isn’t as bad as Mike claimed. There really is little wrong with it. I tried is all I can say. Mike hated on it from the start.

          1. I’m not saying you didn’t defend it well Steve, I haven’t listened to it yet. I was just commenting on Mike’s comments on this post

  2. Maybe instead of saying I didn’t get it why they did that over and over again do some analysis to determine what the purpose is. God forbid a movie use metaphors and allegories and not dumb down everything and tell you exactly what things me. From the start it was clear Mike wanted to hate the movie because people loved it and only looked at the flaws or even try to figure out what the movie was about.

    1. I had waied until long after people were talking about the film to even see it. And the plot still made no sense to me. How is Elsa not a villain…? I mean cmon! She makes one mistake…. and then BOOM she’s this misunderstood villain. Then at the end… hey let’s all heal everything with the power of love. UGH.

      1. You do understand that storytelling is about teaching morals, lessons, the ramifications of actions when it comes to things like fables and fairy tales. The movie isn’t saying what the parent did was right. You do realize that right? Like Little Red Riding Hood isn’t saying to disobey your parents and take the dangerous short cut to make things easier for yourself.

The story of Frozen isn’t about a villain or good vs evil. The entire movie is centered on the importance of control and how too much can be a problem or too little. It begins with the parents who try to control Elsa too much out of fear and embarrassment. By locking her away, by controlling her every move their delay the problem and make it worse. Then you have Elsa, who in an act of rebellion against the control she was forced under decides to ‘Let it Go’, which impart also has negative consequences to everyone around her as well. It has a similar message to that of X-Men or even Spider-Man for that matter. Great Power comes Great Responsibility, but also why being fearful to those that are different doesn’t make you safer and leads to horrible ramifications for everyone.

        1. Very well said Phillip. I think you’re right, Mike wanted to hate this movie, there’s no other expansion since he hasn’t presented a single logical argument for why he thinks it was bad.
