Pi or PIE DAY!

Hello all and welcome to a NEW Daily Blog series from me… TFG1Mike! The idea here is for me to write something, anything, once a day for 365 days. From January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019. In my 73rd entry, I’ll be talking about Pi Day… or is it Pie day? Hey look this blog has been going longer than Kim’s marriage to Chris! HAHA!

“Pi Day is celebrated on March 14th (3/14) around the world. Pi (Greek letter “π”) is the symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant — the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter — which is approximately 3.14159. Pi Day is an annual opportunity for math enthusiasts to recite the infinite digits of Pi, talk to their friends about math, and to eat Pie.”PiDay.org

I’m no good a math, but I love eating pie! I don’t like all pies though. Fruit pies are not my favorite, but I love a great pecan pie, or any kind of chocolate pie. Ever since I was a kid, I was always very remedial math. I think I got up to geometry, and my brain exploded. Don’t even bring up algebra, it won’t be pretty if you do. Let’s just talk about our favorite pies, what are some of yours?

How do you celebrate Pi day? I assume it’s by having at least one piece of pie! Let me know in the comments below.

Join me tomorrow morning March 15, 2019 as I’ll be writing about something!
