I like the first season of TMNT 2003. I noticed how closely it parallel’s the other turtles series, including the new one. I worked up to the Fugitoid episodes of the 2003 series, which they are also doing now in the Nick Turtles series. The 2003 series is a lot of fun, but they need to do a better job with the DVD releases; they’re a mess. I have 3 of the four season one and two season sets. The individual sets from the first season have artwork of the turtles on the spines that look nice when you complete about four volumes, as it produces an image of a turtle. Plus, those DVDs have extras, specifically interviews with Peter Laird, that are not on the season sets from season one.
