  1. Great episode guys. I love the “It’s on Me Award”. So true. If you watched The Do Over what did you expect. I saw The Hunt for the Wilderpeople last weekend and it immediately became my top movie of the year.

  3. My answer for best movie so far is Sing Street. I’ve always had a soft spot for coming of age films and this one is one of the better ones I have seen recently. I also loved John Carney’s Begin Again. Also, nearly all of the music in this movie is original and GREAT. “Drive It Like You Stole It” has been stuck in my head since I’ve seen it.

  5. Best movie this year so far for me is Civil War. Marvel continues to kill it and some how get better. Spider-Man is finally great again, and I can’t wait for the Black Panther movie. In contention for the best Comic book movie ever made.

    1. Same for me. Civil War is up there. Deadpool and Cloverfield are my favs for the year so far.

  7. For me its Everybody Wants Some is the movie fo the year. There were so many opportunities that most filmmakers would have taken to make this a trite movie with a predictable resolution. The captain of the baseball team could have easily ended up being a ‘soft antagonist’. Instead? Nah he’s just cocky and competitive, but ultimately very likable. The lead? He could have cheated on his girl or something then won her back. Instead? He just hangs with her and by the time the movie’s over he is just starting to date her. Silly, forced conflicts that could have happened didn’t and instead the conflicts I expected to blow up are brushed off in an amazingly casual and effective way. The movie just glides. I love it and predict it will become nearly as much of a cult classic as Dazed and Confused.
