Make Monday GREAT Again!
Hello all and welcome to a NEW Daily Blog series from me… TFG1Mike! The idea here is for me to write something, anything, once a day for 365 days. From January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019. In my 63rd entry, I’ll be trying to figure out how we can make Monday GREAT Again!
Garfield might b a lazy orange cat that Jim Davis created, but he has the correct opinion when it comes to Mondays. When Monday morning hits, most people have to return to their jobs, and “make that money” in order to survive. Historically Monday is the one day of the week that has the most negativity towards it. The weekend fun is over, and now you have to work your ass off at a 8 to 15 hour job to make up for all the fun you had on the weekend.
When I was growing up most of the adults I knew had weekday jobs, and on the weekends they could relax, or go have fun. However since the mid 90s… There have been people with work schedules that have their day off on a Monday, and go in on Tuesday, so Tuesday is their New Monday. This also works with Fridays. Say the last day you work is Sunday, well I’ve seen people say that Sunday is their Friday. The times they are a changing, however no matter which way you slice it… Monday really does suck.
How can we as a nation make Mondays great again?!? I have no clue, but we should try, because this stigma on that one day of the week is getting old. I completely understand returning to a routine after time off from work, and getting back into the swing of things.
